a good buddy of mine, djohan johari, from the band castles, did a stencil of his band's logo on a board. pictured above, is him and the board he painted. what a good paint job, considering it's not completely done yet. check out the process here.

this is one of the few designs that he'll be doing for a line of decks for his band's merchandise. he will also be collaborating with ironxhanger for the artist series board collection, which will be featuring a bunch of local and regional artivist, whose identities i'll not disclose yet. hopefully they'll be out by the first quater of 2010. more updates about that soon, so be sure to look out for them!
