when i asked casey to do this interview with me i thought for sure he'd turn me down. but to my surprise, he said yes and here we are. casey let the skidmark crew spend a weekend with him and follow him around town. he told us his story of hard luck and gave us a glimpse into his world. it took courage for casey to tell this story and we are proud to be a part of it. and if you ever go to derby park, hopefully you'll get the privilage of seeing him there. he rips that place like nobody else can. casey helseth is 100% skateboarder!

machotaildrop is a highly visual and fantastical journey about an amateur skateboarder, walter rhum, who realizes his dream of turning pro and riding for the world's greatest skateboard company... machotaildrop. set in an anachronistic time and place, machotaildrop is the greatest skateboard company of its day and the regal and grand sport of skateboarding has been thriving for many generations. walter's journey serves as a window through which we discover the dark underbelly of what appears at first to be a benign skateboard company.

the legendary skateboard company shorty’s skateboards, has finally returned!
since taking a nearly 3 year hiatus from board production, shorty’s has announced they will make their come back in the fall of 2013.
after absolutely ruling the skateboard world in the late 90’s and early 2000’s with legendary pros like chad muska, peter smolik and steve olson and the equally amazing videos “fulfill the dream” and “guilty”, the company disbanded their skate deck operation to focus on shorty’s other hard goods; their name brand hardware, black panther bearings and doh doh bushings.
with a fully revamped and under construction official website, the company seems very excited and eager to get their new boards out to the public.
look out for shorty’s to make their triumphant return into skate shops october first!
